TEAM T&J are a fresh dose of Active and Uplifting Family Entertainment for all ages.  They create an environment where kids can explore and express their imaginations through the excitement and freedom of live music interaction.

TEAM T&J focus on diversity and unification.  We are all equal but not the same, yet each of us is unique.  A team encourages their players to be true to who they are in order for the team as a whole to be their best.  Their interactive music promotes an active lifestyle and demonstrates the essence of teamwork.  They like to have fun with their audiences by inspiring everyone to be true to who they are, believe in themselves and to follow their dreams.

T & J first met in 2011 when T auditioned for the Children's Entertainment Company Kidomo Inc. that J managed tours for.  They toured across Canada representing some of the biggest brands in Children's Entertainment, and had the privilege to perform on some of the largest fair and festival stages such as the Calgary Stampede, and The CNE.  Their passion for performing and inspiring audiences of all ages lead them to the creation of TEAM T&J.

T - Tonya

Tonya Harper understands better than most what it means to be a shy young girl whose secret was that she had one of the most powerful voices hidden from view.  It was only inevitable that her inner voice would begin to soar for all to see and hear.

She began performance as a Figure and Synchronized Skater.  After 9 years of skating competitively, Tonya represented Team Canada for Synchronized Skating and became a Gold Level Ice Dancer.

With the voice of a Disney Princess, she decided it was time to hang up the skates and take to the musical and theatre stage.  Exceling at age 17, she landed her first paid musical theatre gig with Theatre By The Bay in Barrie Ontario.  She continued with Theatre By The Bay as a performer and co-write for themed shows put on at Shopping Centres in Southern Ontario.  Tonya was then hired by Moving Art to perform in a “Land of Make Believe”, a Choose Your Own Adventure, touring schools across Simcoe County.  Over the last 10 years, Tonya has performed to audiences of all ages across Canada. Having a special love for Children’s Entertainment, she was picked up for her outstanding vocal ability to impersonate.  She became Canada’s “Hannah Montana” and was cast to star as "Mean Girl" Samantha in YTV's first original movie musical, King of the Camp as well as starring in YTV’s Monster Warriors.

With her impeccable ability to light up a stage, Tonya became the “live” face of numerous iconic children’s T.V. shows, touring nationally with popular brands such as Thomas and Friends and Dora the Explorer, produced by Kidomo Inc.

With a routed foundation in voice acting, Tonya was selected by the Hasbro Global Division as the voice recording artist who would go on to represent 3 My Little Pony characters, over 2 national tours, spanning the course of 4 years.  The icing on the cake was when she starred as the first ever My Little Pony Equestria Girl where the magic of the production turns the tracked costume character into a living persona sung and voiced by Tonya via a live microphone.

With her partner Jory Kevin Berger, she continues to write and record jingles for corporate radio ads.  TEAM T&J is the perfect outlet for Tonya to create music, theatre, film, and multiple characters inspiring kids to find their inner voice and be true to who they are.
